Cere's Table

I've heard great things about Cere's Table from people who had the opportunity to visit earlier this year during Restaurant Week. There was a Gilt City deal recently for $40 for $70 worth of food so I jumped at this offer, and then spent the voucher on a meal with two labmates/friends who wanted to plan a dinner (one was moving with our PI to UCLA, and the rest of us were leaving the lab).

My main dish: Sicilian seafood stew, with mussels, clams, calamari, and trout sitting on a bed of couscous, swimming in a rich tomato-based broth and sprinkled with fresh herbs. This dish was incredible.

Desserts: chocolate souffle with berry coulis, and peach neopolitan. The souffle could've been more rich and less cakey, and the neopolitan just wasn't what I was expecting.

Valerie went to the restroom, so Kangyi tried to polish off the souffle before she returned

I'm delighted with my food
